This week in English we’ve focused on looking at the vocabulary from the book ‘Ask Dr. K Fisher about Dinosaurs’. We discussed how to look up a word’s definition by using the glossary, a dictionary and reading the next part of the sentence to try and make sense of a word. Class 2 then wrote their own quiz questions giving clues to the words that they had learnt.
In maths we’ve looked at using money and we’ve looked at using the inverse to check answers to a selection of questions.
Following on from the NSPCC assembly earlier in the week, Class 2 completed a follow up lesson. We discussed the characteristics of a safe adult and who our safe adults are.
